Fifty years of momentous history, half a century’s bountiful harvest. From the spark ignited by the Yangtze River in 1975 to today’s globally recognized benchmark in the heat treatment equipment manufacturing industry, Changlu Group has courageously ridden the tide of reform and opening-up and pioneered innovation amidst industrial upgrading waves, making "Changlu Intelligent Manufacturing" shine on the international stage.
On May 28, 2025, Changlu Group grandly held its "Forging Ahead for Half a Century, Setting Sail on a New Journey" 50th Anniversary Celebration and the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Zijiang Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park Project. Zhao Jing, Vice Director of the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone Administrative Committee; Tong Xiaohui, Supervisor of the China Heat Treatment Association; leaders of relevant functional departments of Nanjing ETDZ; industry leaders, experts, friends from all sectors, representatives of cooperative partners, and Changlu Group employee representatives—over 500 people in total—gathered to witness this half-century milestone for Changlu Group.
At 9:38 AM, the groundbreaking ceremony for Changlu Group's Zijiang Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park officially commenced. Chairman Zhou Defu stated in his speech that the construction of the Zijiang Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park is a crucial step in response to the national intelligent manufacturing development strategy. "We will take this groundbreaking as a starting point, building Zijiang Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park into a new benchmark for Nanjing's intelligent manufacturing industry, making active contributions to the economic development of the Development Zone," he said.
Vice Director Zhao Jing of the Nanjing ETDZ Administrative Committee delivered a speech. She emphasized that the heat treatment industry, as a key supporting link in manufacturing, faces strategic opportunities for transformation and upgrading amidst global economic shifts. As a major manufacturing enterprise in China's industrial heat treatment sector, Changlu Group has achieved remarkable accomplishments in industrial furnaces and heat treatment, making positive contributions to local economic development and the industrial upgrade of heat treatment equipment manufacturing. "The launch of this project marks not only a 'critical leap' in Changlu Group's own transformation and upgrading but also an important driver for the Development Zone in implementing the 'Strong Manufacturing City' strategy and promoting industrial cluster development," she stated. "Moving forward, the Development Zone will align closely with enterprises, continuously optimize services, and provide comprehensive support in talent recruitment, financial backing, and digital empowerment to help the industrial park achieve early completion, operation, and results."

Retired officers and soldiers from the former PLA Honor Guard and Ceremonial Guard escorted the national flag into the venue.

Tong Xiaohui, Supervisor of the China Heat Treatment Association, presented a congratulatory gift to Changlu Group on behalf of the association.
In his speech, Tong Xiaohui remarked that Changlu Group has evolved from a woodworking workshop to an intelligent factory, and from a township enterprise to an industry giant. "The 'Changlu People' have accomplished in half a century what took Western industry two hundred years, leading the way in China's heat treatment equipment manufacturing field," he said. He expressed hope that Changlu Group would "temper its innovative edge with 'furnace fire', achieving breakthroughs in cutting-edge fields like smart sensors and superconducting heating; and nurture talent depth with 'quenching fluid', ensuring the 'master-apprentice' tradition runs parallel with the cultivation of digital craftsmen," jointly creating a heat treatment industry innovation consortium with the association.
Congratulatory videos were received from Bruno, agent of the Italian office; Sivakumar, agent of the Indian office; and Thanakron, General Manager of MAXION Group Thailand.
Chairman Zhou Defu delivered a speech, reflecting deeply on the Group's development journey. He stated: "As strivers in the new era, we will build the four pillars and eight beams of enterprise development with six 'first-class' standards: Forge a spiritual monument with 'first-class culture', integrating the values of 'Loyalty, Excellence, Advancement' into our core; forge an innovation engine with 'first-class talent', building an intellectual highland deeply integrated with industry, academia, and research; measure developmental dimensions with 'first-class standards', setting industry benchmarks in processes and quality control; embody the essence of craftsmanship with 'first-class products', ensuring every piece shines with both technological and humanistic brilliance; demonstrate brand warmth with 'first-class service', building bridges to customers' hearts with sincerity and professionalism; and define future coordinates with a 'first-class enterprise', crafting a brilliant name card for 'Made in China' in the global industrial chain restructuring."
General Manager Zhou Hao, representing the management team, declared their mission with resolute vows: "Steering with Party building, calibrating the red course; Sailing with craftsmanship, inheriting the Changlu spirit; Rowing with innovation, energizing the six first-class standards; Anchoring with excellence, solidifying the foundation for a century; Soaring with perseverance, traversing stars and vast seas; Lighting the way with win-win cooperation, illuminating the journey of endeavor!" He called on all "Changlu People" to take today as a new starting line, advancing steadily step by step, to collectively witness Changlu Group's next ten, twenty years... and continue writing Changlu's future poem in the torrent of the times.
Vice Director Zhao Jing of the Nanjing ETDZ Administrative Committee reiterated in her address that Changlu Group, oriented towards being "Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative" and driven by technology, not only provides critical technical support for "national treasures" like aerospace and military equipment but also drives employment and industry leadership, becoming a vital engine for the high-quality development of the Development Zone. "This achievement is the pride of the Changlu people and also the pride of the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone!" she declared. "Nanjing ETDZ will always be the firmest partner and the strongest backing for enterprises, facing challenges and sharing development opportunities together with Changlu Group!" She expressed hope that Changlu Group, while pursuing economic benefits, would place greater emphasis on social responsibility, actively participating in public welfare in education, veteran affairs, environmental protection, and other fields to contribute to building a harmonious society.
